About this Blog

Eiichiro Oda is just one of the few manga artists I admire most and I consider him as a hero. Though his art is very cartoonish and exaggerated as seen in his creation “One Piece”-which results for some not to like it- for me Oda is a genius and his “One Piece” is one of the most interesting manga I’ve ever stumbled upon.

Since I became a manga fan, I started looking for something different in every manga I encounter but failed to see it in them. But then I found the difference and uniqueness I was looking for in Oda’s “One Piece”. Don’t get me wrong as I am not putting emphasis that he is better than other famous manga artists; since I don’t really state that a particular manga artist is better than the other. (Well, I used to say that before I became a One Piece fan). One reason is because I now admire anyone who can draw with originality regardless of the drawing style. And I’m glad to see every artist that way.In fact, at first, I didn’t appreciate Oda’s work this much, but as I came to witness the story and the different characters, I realized his creation is just more than his drawings. In my honest opinion, he is a genius in using his own art style, art characterization, humour, and story. Another thing I like in his illustration is how he uses different angles on his art in a consistent manner.

So as a gift to the world, I will create a drawing of the different antagonist and protagonist of Oda’s manga series “One Piece”. I will take a photo of each final product and will post it in a blog for 365 days to tell the world on Eiichiro Oda’s intelligence and creativity as a manga artist. So, Watch out for my daily drawings!
